Hi Agnes, lovely to see you here! Thank you for reading, and listening :-) I always forget about adding sounds in favour of writing and photos, even though I record loads.
I will try and remember to add the sound clips a little more regularly!
Lovely! It’s been quite a month, hasn’t it? More intense than ever after so much more rain than is usual here. I alway stop to listen to water - that precedes my photographing it by a long way - so your chalk stream is a joy. The crows remind me of the mallards that I sometimes hear from ponds in the woods; uncannily like laughter. I wonder at the joke. Thanks Jo.
It's such a pleasure to write when others feel connected to it too. Thanks so much Michela. Yes it really has been quite a month. Dizzying in some ways, with such fast growth all around and an explosion of leaves and scents. I'll think of you when I next stop at the stream. It's wonderful how water and nature connects people across hundreds of miles. Thank you for joining me on the wander.
I am in the darkening days of autumn in Melbourne, Australia, Jo. It's cold! To walk through the woods with you this morning, all my senses alerted, was a joyful thing. Thank you
Beautiful - I love the sounds. They always transport us to places so quickly. Thank you for sharing.
